Current Open Positions

Quality Control Inspector (Palatka, Florida Facility Only)  

PDM Bridge has an immediate opening for a Quality Control Inspector. This position is responsible for inspecting products using gauges, coordinate measuring machine, scales, oscilloscope and vision prior to shipment. Generate spreadsheets for data collection. Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments. Interact with Government Source Inspector as needed. Test incoming raw materials.

Qualifications:

  • Up to 3 years of experience in Quality Control function in manufacturing environment.
  • CWI (Certified Welder Inspector) Certification Required.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • Understanding and use of Theory of Constraints principles.
  • Knowledge and application of QC principles, requirements, tools and equipment.
  • Clear communication (oral and written) skills.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards.
  • Excellent time-management skills with the ability to work independently with little supervision.



Project Manager (All Locations) 

PDM Bridge is seeking a Project Manager to plan, direct, coordinate, and execute activities related to assigned bridge projects, from bid award to final payment. Candidate must operate with a sense of urgency and purpose to ensure that bridge fabrication projects are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications:

  • Prefer a 4 year degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • At least three years of project management experience, especially in bridge, highway, or heavy steel construction and a thorough knowledge of steel welding procedures is highly desirable.
  • A Professional Engineer license is preferred.
  • Must possess: a strong sense of purpose and urgency, strong project management skills, thorough understanding of blue prints and shop drawings, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, ability to creatively problem solve, the ability to deftly coordinate the myriad of details that are involved in steel bridge fabrication.



Shop Supervisor (Palatka, Florida Location Only) 

PDM Bridge Palatka has an immediate opening for shop supervisor. Responsible for the efficient operation, organization and assignment of area by shift at the Plant. Plans, organizes, coordinates, and executes activities related to bridge fabrication projects according to established procedures. Will be expected to perform the duties of management staff personally or through other appropriate employees.




Welder/Fitter (Palatka, Florida Facility Only) 

PDM Bridge has an immediate opening for certified or experienced welders available to work second shift who are career-minded and want to build a future with an established progressive company. Welders must pass a weld test. Experience in structural steel fabrication is preferred.
